Italy's Lost Memory!
Yesterday watched Marco Travaglio's Promemoria show. Very interesting, a seriously comprehensive tale of Italy's political scene since 'Tangentopoli' mixed with purposeful witty moments. It is fascinating in an almost psychoanalytical way: how bundling so many different historical moments into one allows an audience to bring to life parts of its unconscious mind that were somehow lost in a confused and automated present reality.
The frightening bit is that after watching the whole thing you wonder how ANY political party or politician in Italy can think of even discussing reforms with Berlusconi?
However, this is something the centre-left PD is ready to do right now. Italy's left wing President is also suggesting the same in the 'name of public interest'.
Would common interest not be served best by reviewing all the institutional laws passed over the last decade which help dishonest people stealing from Italian's pockets ?
